In you live in the Thames Valley within travelling distance of Reading, why not visit the friendly local club in your area. In our programme, we cover a wide range of transport subjects that take in land, sea and air travel, but the majority of shows are on railways to cater for the interests of most members.
Our meetings are on Wednesday evenings starting in late September and finish in late May. Meetings are held on the first floor of Church House, Church
Street, Caversham next to Waitrose. There is a small car park at the rear of the venue for 'blue disc' holders, additionally there is the Waitrose car park
at the rear of the St Martins precinct. The venue also has a lift to the first floor for those unable to use the stairs.
Reading buses stop nearby, services 22,24,25,27 28 and 29 plus Thames Travel X39/40 from Woodcote. We open at 7.30 and usually commence at 7.45.
There is a break during the meeting for refreshments. Tea and coffee are available at 20p.
We have a 'second hand' sales table stocked with magazines, books large small plus transport photographs..

Subscriptions are £25 per 'term' (as at October 2024) a term being September to December, and January to May. so £50 for a years membership.
Membership subscription is agreed at an AGM held in late February.
Visitors (that is non-members) are asked to make a donation of £3 to the Treasurer on the night.
