WUPPERTAL  SCHWEBEBAHN.
   Suspension railway in Wuppertal, Germany.  Its original name is Einschien Hangerbahn system Eugen Langen.  It is the oldest electric elevated railway with hanging     cars in the world and is a unique system in Germany.  Route length is 13.3 km (8.3 miles)  Twenty stations opened in 1901. No gauge as it is a monorail. 
   Other things to mention - entrance doors on one side only (no island platforms) cars make sharp turn at both termini at Oberbarmen and Vohwinkle site of the depot and
   workshops.  Journey only takes 25 minutes so very basic plastic seating. Gaurd in each unit to control doors and give starting signal.

No proper details for this event, some replicas and other items from SNCF Mulhouse along side new rolling stock.

Built Crewe in 1936 to Crewe north depot.  To Bristol Barrow Rd in 1947 till w/d in July 1964.
Named after young man from Abydos who 'fell' for Hero a girl from Greek myth.
Loco withdrawn 1964 taken to Woodhams till 1972, then restored at BR derby works and later to Dinting museum. 
In 1980 Leander arrived at the SVR for boiler repairs, leaving in 1981. In 1983 put up for sale with 45699 Galatea, both then 
acquired by SVR. In 1994 both loco's sold and 5690 went to East Lancs Rly.
​As of 2008 operated by WCRC at Carnforth and back on mainline in 2015.  Home base is still Carnforth but main line certificate expires in 2021.
